Bio:

Evelyn Brodie is a modern day shamanic practitioner and integrated healer. In the 1970s she gained degrees in economics from Glasgow University in Scotland and Stanford University in California. For thirty years, she enjoyed a lucrative career as an economist, a financial journalist and corporate communications executive before she had an experience that forced her to change her belief system and then her life. This experience was so vivid and undeniable that to try to understand it she embarked on a dual track quest for knowledge.

Her research over the last ten years has led her to study a wide range of experiential healing practices, including shamanic practices and altered states of consciousness, as well as the science underpinning these ancient and re-emerging practices, including quantum physics, psychoneuroimmunology, neurobiology and epigenetics.

Her travels and quest for knowledge have taken her to North, Central and South America, India, and Southeast Asia.  She now lives in London and runs a healing practice there. In 2013 she published a book describing her ten-year journey: Corporate Bitch to Shaman: a journey uncovering the links between 21st century science, consciousness and the ancient healing practices. In 2015 she published a second book: Temenos Touch: The Art and Science of Integrated Medicine and Non-local Healing.  This seeks to bridge the gap between the scientific medical world and the worlds of historic, age-old healing practices.
